May 1930-The Farmer's Wife

The Farmer's Wife was published between 1893 and 1939. It covered a wide range of topics including; cooking, sewing, caring for animals, feeding the threshing crews, fashion, preserving, housekeeping, childcare.....

  3. Heide, I had never seen or even knew this magazines were ones in circulation. I love the content and the ads. I will be going to ebay looking for some to buy. Thanks for such a wonderful post.

      The Farmer's Wife is a fairly new discovery of ours too! We first discovered when my sister came across a cookbook that reprinted old recipes from it. Of course, we then had to keep our eyes out for the real macoy!!
