Cozy Autumn

We are moving on to that time of autumn where there are less and less leaves on the trees, hats and mittens are needed for morning walks and the days are shorter. Not only are the days shorter, but around here it is usually rainy. My favorite way to beat the dreary-ness? Do a little baking! Nothing makes the house more cozy then the aroma of fresh baked goods!
Continuing on with my muffin craze this year, my newest recipe are these pumpkin muffins from King Arthur Flour. A lovely fall treat!

Below is a list of past baking posts.

What is your favorite cozy autumn activity?

  1. It was just yesterday that my husband was talking about your recipe for Brown Sugar Cookies. : ) He wanted to remind me that I should make some for him this Christmas, as I forgot to last year. They are delicious!

    1. It has been awhile since I have made them. You are inspiring me to make a batch! And they are a good fall choice. Glad you like them!

  2. I know we get colder that you do, but I guess I'll settle for that over 'dreary.' I don't like rain. I suppose it's a good thing I only visit and don't live in England! You have a nice list of baked goods. The Rock Buns made me laugh because the last time I made dinner rolls, I swear they could be used as weapons! LOL
