One of my sisters and I favorite singing groups are the Andrews Sisters. This perky trio always brings a smile to our faces. They are the best known for singing 40s wartime swing tunes like Bei Mir Bist du Schon and Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree.
Thanks for sharing that...that was my parents generation but I remember hearing them when I was little..I was born in 49. Were those pictures of the cars etc; part of the You Tube video or your pictures? I have some old pictures I need to put on my blog of the little town I came from with the old cars etc and snow....I'm moving back as soon as I can! The town has barely changed...I'm so lucky! How absolutly wonderful that you are moving back to your hometown!! The pictures in the youtube video are someone else's. That was the reason I choose that video, the great pictures. I just love the one of main street and all the cars covered in snow.
