I recently pick up two Woman's Home Companion magazines from the late 40s. The advertisements are marvelous! I will be posting quite a few in the next week. Today's ads feature aprons! What else?!

What fun ads! I think my grandma used Rinso blue on her hair. (just kidding). Women did sometimes catch their long hair in those Maytag wringer washers. Maybe that's when short hair came into vogue. :-)
