Good Housekeeping 1924 Fashion, part 1

  1. My goodness, they certainly weren't very flattering, were they. I'm remembering Mary Crawley (of Downton Abbey) and the last two dresses she wore as the show was supposed to represent 1920. All straight lines, low waist. BUT, the dress she was wearing when she accepted Matthew's proposal was, of course, a beautiful red and ruffled. lol

  2. Heide, I can't decide which of those three aprons I like best! But I really must start wearing an apron more often (have a few, just don't wear them very often). Too many times I'm wearing dark colors while baking and come out of the kitchen looking like I've been dipped in a flour barrel!
